Getting Started
CyberKongz is a community-based NFT project that was first minted on March 3rd, 2021. What started as a random collection of Pixelized Gorilla PFPs (Profile Pictures), has now grown to an entire ecosystem of 2D PFPs, 3D Avatars, a Utility Token ($BANANA), metaverse wearables, redeemable vouchers, and much more!
No, our goal is to be the most interoperable social avatars in Web3. We do not currently have plans to build out any metaverses or games, but will allow holders to utilize their assets in other ecosystems.
CyberKongz utilize both the Ethereum and Polygon blockchain networks.
Our website and apps currently support MetaMask and Wallet Connect.
$BANANA
$BANANA can be claimed under the tab "My Kongz". Click "CLAIM" and a transaction will pop up in Metamask that needs to be confirmed. Incubators and Baby CyberKongz do not yield $BANANA! Unclaimed $BANANA is tied to the initial ETH address and is not transferred with Kongz. When a Kong is transferred to a new address, the new address will now yield its $BANANA.
$BANANA is the fuel of the CyberKongz ecosystem. It was originally used to breed Cyberkongz Babies and has grown into the fuel for our Play & Kollect. Name your Kong (on chain), or write a bio for your Kong (on chain). Use cases for $BANANA are always evolving, so stay tuned for more updates!
Genesis CyberKongz yield $BANANA on Ethereum mainnet, while Polygon $BANANA (or $pBANANA) was created for Play & Kollect. A contract migration in early 2022 now allows $BANANA to be bridged from the Ethereum mainnet to Polygon, allowing for both types of $BANANA

Wallet access is the responsibility of each holder. If you lose access to your wallet, there is no way to recover the asset as the ownership and transfer of each asset is dependent on blockchain approvals and verification.
All purchases of CyberKongz are completed on a peer-to-peer basis meaning that the CyberKongz team is not involved and thus, can not offer any sort of refunds.
Breeding
Breeding is now over, however, when Breeding was active, any holder with two Genesis CyberKongz and 600 $BANANA could breed. As long as you had enough $BANANA, you can breed the same Kongz multiple times, without a cool-down. The act of breeding would generate an Incubator.
An Incubator is an NFT that represents a Baby Kong and a VX. Incubators can be left unopened (unrevealed Baby) or unclaimed (unclaimed VX) indefinitely and traded like any other Kong. In order to reveal your Baby, you can go to the MY KONGZ section and "INCUBATE" by paying a gas fee. In order to claim your VX, you would go to the MY KONGZ section and "CLAIM" by paying a gas fee that would reveal your randomly generated VX. Please note that incubators being sold on marketplaces may or may not have the attached VX, since these can be claimed at any time but can be checked at https://www.cyberkongz.com/claim
Baby CyberKongz are the 2nd set of 2D PFP collection after Genesis CyberKongz. They were bred by holding two Genesis CyberKongz and burning 600 $BANANA as mentioned above. You can check their utilities beyond PFP here.
My Kongz
Only migrated CyberKongz can be named or get their bio changed.
Under My Kongz you can click on your desired Kong and then click CHANGE NAME or CHANGE BIO. Changing your Kongz name costs 10 $BANANA and changing your Kongz bio costs 100 $BANANA. Updating your CyberKongz VX name will cost 2 $BANANA.
When clicking on CHANGE NAME or CHANGE BIO a field will pop up where you can enter the name or bio. When clicking on CONFIRM a Metamask transaction will pop up that needs to be confirmed.
Once again, do not cheap out on gas, and do not spam the confirm button! The new name or bio will show up once the transaction is confirmed. You can see it on our website and on OpenSea.io. Names have a limit of 20 alphanumeric characters including spaces. Also name can be reverted back to original as it has # in name.
You can download the printable obj file under the tab “My Kongz” on our website! ust select your desired Kong, choose the file “ID_for_3d_print.zip” and verify your ownership to get access to the downloadable assets.
By holding a CyberKongz NFT in your Ethereum wallet, you gain full and complete ownership of your NFT as well as the opportunity to utilize this NFT in minting or receiving subsequent opportunities available only to CyberKongz holders. All NFTs ownership is verified cryptographically on the Ethereum Blockchain. This is proof of ownership and grants rights within this document. Once the NFT leaves ownership, all Personal and Commercial use terms are revoked.
Subject to compliance with these terms, CyberKongz grants you a royalty-free license to use, copy, display, and modify the CyberKongz NFTs that you own for CyberKongz NFT Art. This usage is granted world-wide.
Play & Kollect
A fully on-chain experience to find, mint and collect your favorite NFTs. The goal of PnK is build a sustainable ecosystem that is the foundation of all current and future assets of CyberKongz.

Transactions & technical
When trying to push an impossible transaction, Metamask will show a ridiculously high fee. This usually occurs when you try to migrate a Kong that has already been migrated but has not shown up under "My Kongz" or when you try to do a "BREED", "CHANGE NAME" or "CHANGE BIO" action, without having the correct amount of $BANANA!
So do not try repeating unconfirmed transactions and make sure to have enough $BANANA for your desired transaction.
A new Multi-Lock Registry was designed and implemented alongside the jungle adventure contract to make this possible. Staking is a thing of the past, now we Lock. The purpose of the Multi-Lock Registry is to offer the benefits of staking, without the need to send your valuable assets to a smart contract that could eventually be compromised or cause a huge loss.
Ronin VRF is the backbone of CyberKongz Play & Kollect ecosystem. Ronin VRF allows for a provable and trustless randomization of the following:
- The type of event generated during a PnK event
- The starting amount of the $BANANA Prize Pool each season of PnK
- Loot Kollected and Kongium Kollected during a PnK event
- The type of Charmz that are generated by Baby Kongz
- Any NFT claimed using The Klaw!
We believe that provable fairness is the foundation for any blockchain game, so we will be incorporating Ronin VRF in any future updates of our Play & Kollect ecosystem!
community & Governance
Kongz Tank is an incubator program where teams can receive funding and advisement from CK for a new project that will incorporate and elevate the Play & Kollect ecosystem.
